With aero performance already highly optimised, meaningful gains require a new approach. Instead of chasing results at a single wind angle, development is focused on real-world conditions, where crosswinds and varying yaw angles dominate. This leads to aerodynamic efficiency that holds up outside the wind tunnel, translating performance directly into speed on the road.
Building the fastest frameset isn't the ultimate objective. It's to build the fastest overall system, with bike and rider working together. By optimising stability, rider position, and power transfer, more of the rider's effort drives the bike forward. A lower centre of gravity, race-focused geometry, and a high stiffness-to-weight frame all contribute to greater speed.
